Youth Combat

Open for youth ages 6 to 15 years, the current Youth Fighting Standards offer three age categories: 6 – 9, 10 – 12, and 13 – 15.

With primary focus being on safety for all involved, the Youth Fighting Program provides an introduction to field etiquette, familiarization with field heraldry format, chivalric behavior and encouragement of good sportsmanship in addition to instruction in combat tactics with explanation and practice of function, use, and technique of boffer weapons.

In addition to boffer weapons there is also the same instruction and introduction offered for Rapier Combat.

If you have questions feel free to contact our Youth Combat Marshals:
Youth Combat Marshal: Currently Vacant
Youth Rapier Marshal: HL Arion the Falcon

Many groups offer fighter practices specifically for Youth boffers to hone and develop skills. Competitions are offered for the right to stand in Baronial or Kingdom Court.
